Joshua Terry ( joshua@menwithvoices.com )

Joshua L. Terry was born in Seale, Alabama on November 26, 1979 at Uchee Pines Institute to a family with four children, him being the third child. At a very young age Joshua sang with his brothers, one sister and mother to provide background vocals for his father as he played scripture songs from the Bible as they sung in various venues around their hometown area.

Joshua first discovered his talent for playing the piano while away at boarding school in Chunky, Mississippi. Upon returning home at the age of 15, he began taking piano lessons and keyboard at his home church in Columbus, Ga. He also accompanied his Dad as he played the lead guitar, and along with his brothers they come together to form the group Men With Voices. Joshua was selected to be the Chaplin and spiritual leader of the group. This group, over the course of an 8-year period sang at many different churches and functions throughout the southeastern part of the United States.

Over the course of the years that followed, they lost three group members. While going through these changes Joshua discovered that he had a natural talent for playing the guitar that was so extraordinary that he recognized it as a gift from God.

In his spare time Joshua enjoys taking long walks with his mother as they talk about the good works God has in store for him. He recognizes himself as a soldier of the Lord. His mission, given to him by God, is to by any means necessary finish the work which Christ has started. His favorite verse is found in Matthew 10:22 " But he that endureth to the end shall be saved."
