This service is part of the ISA online Public Information Center Center (PIC). New spine disorders are added on a regular basis. Each disorder is subdivided into topic-specific blocks of information which are periodically updated to accurately reflect current knowledge and spinecare options. A spine information script form was designed to help healthcare professionals direct their patients to the correct disorders and to other areas of the PIC. This online feature was designed to serve as a quick reference for common symptoms associated with spine disorders. The resource provides an opportunity for the user to learn about spine symptoms and to learn about the more common causes for the symptoms. This online resource is not meant to take the place of a proper assessment but was developed to help the user become more familiar with the symptoms which may arise as the result of a spine disorder. The Symptom checker represents one of many resources available through the ISA online Public Information Center (PIC).
